The Internet is home to countless Web sites. Thousands belong to law firms. I’ll bet you’ve been to quite a few. So have I...and here’s what I think:
There’s a lot of chest beating going on out there....Based on what so many ads say, you’d think the fight, being aggressive, and not trusting anyone is all we lawyers have to talk about.
I, like all lawyers, have sworn an oath that says, “I will abstain from offensive [behavior]…” and “I will preserve […] the secrets of my client at every peril to myself.” Like the oath says, I believe that showing the human, caring side is not weakness, but is a real and valuable part of truly strong legal representation.
My position is to be hard-line against your opponents, yet I’ll always take the high road in my dealings with my clients.
