Daniel A. Barfield
Attorney
Dan Barfield is just like you. He works hard at his job. He has a family he loves and cares for. He’s a good father, a good friend and a good son. A product of local schools where he learned the value of service to others, he wants the best for our community. And like you, he’s a fierce believer in the concepts of fairness and justice. That’s why he’s an attorney at Gerling Law.
Dan’s father worked at the Whirlpool plant in Evansville for 35 years, and through him Dan learned to respect people from all walks of life and to understand that we all have the same concerns, the same basic desires – including the opportunity to take care of our families and make a good life for ourselves. The truth is that victims of serious injury often find themselves robbed of that opportunity through no fault of their own.
As your attorney, Dan will be laser-focused on the details of your case and he will aggressively fight to help you receive a fair settlement. But you’ll find him to be approachable, friendly and easy to talk to. He’ll always be available to answer any questions you might have. Simply put, he’ll be there for you when you need him.
Asked about his most important cases, Dan will show you how his work has not only helped countless victims of serious person injury, but how he’s helped change and improve our community by making it safer place to live. We’re all better off thanks to his work on behalf of his clients.
With two young children and an aging mother, Dan spends most of his time with his family, moving between activities with his wife and children to visiting his mother and her friends at the nursing home.
