Itโ€™s a status and an expectation that are universally recognized. Those who meet Grant Barnett are rarely surprised to learn he is one of the few to have earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Itโ€™s evident in his character and his devotion to serving the needs of others with energy, enthusiasm, and most of all, genuine respect.

After graduating from Signature School, the lifelong Evansville resident headed to Purdue and a dual major in Philosophy and Political Science. He spent his summers helping Aunt Mollyโ€™s ship their popular barrel-based products. Next came Indiana Universityโ€™s Robert H. McKinney School of Law. While there, he served as a Vanderburgh County bailiffโ€™s intern and had an internship with another firm.

Grant was drawn to Gerling because of our focus on helping clients get what they deserve when theyโ€™ve been wronged. He enjoys listening to their stories and bringing them a stronger voice through the legal system.

Given his past studies, you would expect a deep interest in literature, philosophy, and philology (the study of languages, roots, and connections). The automobile enthusiast and occasional gamer has also recently taken up the world of competition shooting.
