August 2020–Plaintiffs’ attorney Aimee Wagstaff reported to Judge Chhabria that Bayer was backing away from the company’s tentative settlement agreements made in March.  The agreements were set for finalization in July.  Bayer stated in June that it had a $10 billion settlement with U.S. law firms which would resolve the majority of over 100,000 Roundup claims.  However, only two law firms leading the litigation had signed final agreements at that time.
