Compensation And Benefits

Our health benefits programs include medical, dental and vision benefits, a flexible spending account plan, a health savings account program and an employee assistance program. Our welfare benefit programs include basic life and personal accident insurance, basic disability (short and long-term) insurance, voluntary group life insurance and voluntary personal accident insurance. We also have a generous 401(k) defined contribution retirement savings plan and an education benefits plan which covers continuing education and college tuition.

Attorney

Position responsibilities:

  • Will manage personal injury claims from inception through resolution
  • Will counsel clients through entire claims process, including regular contact with clients to foster understanding and trust
  • Will conduct legal research and writing
  • Will handle cases in litigation, including, but not limited to, preparation and filing of pleadings, discovery, depositions, mediation/arbitration and trial.
  • Will analyze case-specific legal issues and documentation, including insurance policies
  • Will investigate claims, gather evidence and retain experts
  • Will review medical documents, calculate damages and present claims for review and potential pre-litigation resolution
  • Will obtain client reviews

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice in Indiana, Illinois and/or Kentucky
  • Jury trial experience
  • Personal injury experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Litigation experience
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage a heavy caseload and be self-sufficient
  • Ability to keep deadlines, organize information, and create systems for managing work
  • Self-starter who takes initiative to solve problems
