Many families are filing lawsuits against Conwed Co. for exposure to asbestos in a Cloquet, Minnesota plant.
One widow, June Ulvi, lost her husband to mesothelioma in 2010 after he worked in the plan for 30 years. Jim Ulvi is one of 39 former plant workers diagnosed with the deadly cancer.
The Ulvi’s filed a lawsuit before Jim died and received a settlement, however, June said the money was not enough to right the wrong that Conwed committed.
